USLU at the Open Day in Sri Lanka
On November 01, was held an open Day at the Russian House in Colombo.
The purpose of this event is to familiarize Sri Lankan schoolchildren and students with the educational programs of the USLU named after V.F. Yakovlev and the advantages of studying at our university.
Maria Leonidovna Popova, Director of the Russian House in Sri Lanka and First Secretary of the Russian Embassy in Sri Lanka, addressed the participants of the Open Day with an introductory speech.
Our university was presented by Head of the International Cooperation Department Kozubenko Yuri Vyacheslavovich and analyst of the International Cooperation Department Getz Olga Evgenievna.
The learners from Sri Lanka were told about our university, teachers, the existing educational programs of USLU, as well as about the possibility of admission to us according to the quota of Rossotrudnichestvo.
Lankans asked a lot of questions about Yekaterinburg, the history of our university, the opportunity to study Russian as a foreign language at the Institute of Pre-university Training and living conditions in a dormitory.
