USLU in Khujand

On March 14, in Khujand hosted a meeting of the Heads of the Tajik State University of Law, Business and Policy with Yuri Vyacheslavovich Kozubenko, Head of the International Cooperation Department of the Ural State Law University named after V.F. Yakovlev and Igor Vadimovich Fedorov, Associate Professor of the Department of International Law of the Ural State Law University named after V.F. Yakovlev.

The meeting was attended by:

     ► Vice-Rector for International Relations, Doctor of Economics, Professor Babajanov Davron Dadajanovich;

     ► Dean of the Faculty of Law, Candidate of Law, Associate Professor Tajibaev Sherozjon Abdudzhabborovich;

     ► Head of the International Relations Department Sharipov Komiljon Karimovich.

Yuri Vyacheslavovich and Igor Vadimovich presented the Tajik State University of Law, Business and Policy with a two-volume book dedicated to the centenary of our university, as well as copies of scientific journals published at the Ural State Law University named after V.F. Yakovlev.

During the meeting, were discussed issues of launching a joint master’s degree program «International Protection of Human Rights», as well as issues of participation of students and teachers of the two universities in joint scientific events.

Representatives of the Tajik State University of Law, Business and Policy were invited to the XVII session of the Euro-Asian Law Congress and other international events, which are held with the active participation of the USLU named after V.F. Yakovlev – Summer University and Summer School of Human Rights.

The Heads of one of the largest regional universities in Tajikistan showed interest in these projects and expressed their willingness to develop educational and scientific cooperation between our universities.
