School Olympiad «Legal heights!»
Dear Grades 9-11 students!
We invite you to take part in the annual USLU Law Olympiad «Legal heights!».
Participation in the Olympiad is an opportunity:
· get from 5 to 10 additional points to the results of the Unified State Exam;
· to increase the chances of budget admission;
· improve your level of knowledge in the field of law.
Terms and stages of the Olympiad:
1. Registration: from September 07, 2020 to January 10, 2021

2. Qualifying stage: January 17, 2021 (in absentia).
3. Final stage: March 27, 2021 (in presentio using distant technologies).
Please note: scanned copies of an application for consent on personal data processing and a certificate from an educational organization must be sent by January 10, 2021 to the email olimp@uslu.su

Ural School Court
Dear Grades 9-11 students!
Do you dream of successfully performing in courts? Start with us! We invite you to take part in the game trial «Ural School Court».
Winners will get valuable prizes and gifts, as well as up to 10 additional points for admission to USLU!
The competition is held by the Institute of Law and Business of USLU, the Preparatory Department of USLU and Ural Moot Court Centre.
This year's contest theme: «Dissemination of defamatory information on the Internet».
Terms and stages of the contest:
· December 15, 2019 (until 23.59 hours inclusive) – publication of the contest task (appendix № 2 to the rules of the "Gameplay Plot")) on the USLU website, as well as in the Vkontakte group.
· January 20, 2020 (until 23.59 hours inclusive) - submission of applications for participation in the contest.
· February 01, 2020 (until 23.59 hours inclusive) – the plaintiff teams send the plaintiff's theses to the organizing committee ipip.arbitr@yandex.ru.
· February 03, 2020 - the organizing committee make a draw for teams, determines pairs of opposing teams, sends the plaintiff's theses to the defendant teams.
· February 15, 2020 (until 23.59 hours inclusive) - defendant teams send the defendant's theses to the organizing committee ipip.arbitr@yandex.ru.
· February 17, 2020 - the organizing committee sends the defendant's theses to the plaintiff teams.
· March 01, 2020 - from 09.00 to 14.00 - conducting game trials, awarding the winners (Ekaterinburg, 54 Kolmogorova St.).
Teams from general education institutions of the Ural Federal District consisting of two to four students and a coach (teacher) are allowed to participate in the contest.

«State and law: modern challenges»
Dear students and teachers!
We invite you to take part in the contest «State and law: modern challenges»! The competition will be held as a part of the scientific and practical conference of students and young scientists «Council of Europe Model». The event will take place in April at Ural State Law University. Participants of the contest will be able to make scientific reports on legal issues. Requirements for formatting and defense of the contest work are attached.

The deadline for submitting applications for participation in the contest is on April 2, 2020, 20:00 (local time).
The correspondence stage of the contest will be held until April 9, 2020.
The invitations will be sent to the participants, who have passed to the full-time stage of the contest, no later than April 10, 2020.
Advantages:
The winner and awardees (1-3 place) receive 5 points for the applicants’ individual achievements for admission to USLU.
Participants of the full-time stage of the contest receive 2 points for the applicants’ individual achievements for admission to USLU.

Contest «First Steps in Science»
Dear high school students and teachers!
We invite you to take part in the contest "First Steps in Science"!
In order to prevent the spread of coronavirus infection, the contest will be held on May 15, 2020 distantly.
Issues related to law will be discussed on the contest. Interdisciplinary works are also accepted, for example, works on law and history, law and literature, law and psychology, etc.
Terms of participation in the contest:
· 7-11th grade students are invited;
· no later than April 27 (until 23:00 local time), 2020, you must fill out the registration form and send the contest work (presentation and text of the public speech) to the email fdp@usla.ru, specify in the subject line: "First steps in science»;
· according to the results of the competitive selection, invitations to the contest will be sent (selection - until April 30);
· distant defense of work is possible for non-resident participants who have passed the competitive selection;
· it is allowed to write work in co-authorship, but not more than 2 co-authors for one work.
