Preparatory Institute (Faculty) is a department of Ural State Law University named after V.F. Yakovlev. It continues the traditions of pre-university training. This tradition originated back in 1931 at the Siberian Institute of Soviet Law. It is based on the principle of continuous education. Aim of Preparatory Faculty is to prepare students for their future study at USLU.

Subjects:
- Russian language as the foreign language (for students who don’t know Russian language);
- Courses for preparing for Entering exams to get bachelor or master degree (for students who know Russian language).
Forms of education: - offline (in person);
- online (distance form).

Application:
- eligible clear high-quality scan or photo of your international passport;
- scan of your secondary school certificate with the academic transcript or a scan of your Bachelor's diploma with the academic transcript;
- a filled out application form;
- a brief motivation letter (in English or another language).
