* Citizens of the Republic of Belarus have the right to take the entrance tests of the USLU in the form of computer testing (as foreign citizens) or to provide a certificate indicating the results of centralized testing by July 25, 2024 (the results must be obtained in the current or previous calendar year), which are recognized as the results of the entrance tests (if the applicant did not pass the Unified State Exam in the year of receipt results of centralized testing).

Basis of education
Education of foreign citizens at the University is carried out both on state-funded places and on places with the payment of tuition fees at the expense of individuals and legal entities in accordance with the Contracts on the provision of paid educational services.
Getting higher education at the expense of federal budget allocations is possible in several cases:
- In accordance with international treaties of the Russian Federation.
- Within the quota for education of foreign citizens in the Russian Federation established by the Government of the Russian Federation. Official website for foreign nationals enrollment for study in the Russian Federation studyinrussia.ru
- For compatriots living abroad, subject to their compliance with the requirements provided for in Section 17 of the Federal law dated May 24, 1999 № 99- FZ "On the state policy of the Russian Federation in respect to compatriots abroad" www.pravo.gov.ru
Additional requirements are imposed on education documents issued in foreign countries:
Submitting documents on foreign education, it is necessary to undergo a number of procedures that allow using foreign education documents for further education: the procedure for legalizing documents, translating documents into Russian, recognizing the value (level) of foreign education in the Main State Center for Education Evaluation.

The procedure of foreign education recognition
Translation of documents into Russian
Foreign education documents are submitted to educational organizations with translation into Russian, certified by a notary in the Russian Federation territory or in the consular offices of the Russian Federation in the territory of a foreign state. Exceptions are documents issued in countries participating in multilateral or bilateral treaties, abolishing the requirement to legalize documents. In this case, translations and copies of documents can be notarized in the country of documents issuance. Copies of translated documents shall be attached to notarized translations.
Identity documents in a foreign language must also be submitted with a notarized translation into Russian.
