On January 29, the Russian higher education fair was held for the first time on the basis of the Russian House in Colombo. Sri Lankan applicants had a unique opportunity to get acquainted with 20 leading Russian universities, including the Ural State Law University named after V.F. Yakovlev.

The purpose of this event is to familiarize Sri Lankan schoolchildren and students with the educational programs of Russian universities and increase their recognition among foreign applicants.

The guests of honor at the fair were Russian Ambassador to Sri Lanka Levan Semenovich Jagaryan and Coordinating Secretary of the Minister of Education of Sri Lanka Cyril Suduvella.

The Head of the Russian House in Colombo, Maria Leonidovna Popova, spoke about the advantages of studying at Russian universities. She stressed that Russia provides fundamental and systematic education that allows you to become a versatile and in-demand specialist.

Our university was presented by the Head of the International Cooperation Department, Doctor of Law Kozubenko Yuri Vyacheslavovich.

During the video tour, potential applicants were able to see USLU from the inside: visit student dormitories, libraries, gyms, cafeterias, as well as learn more information about the chosen specialties.
