Ural State Law University named after V. F. Yakovlev in Tashkent

On September 22-23, Tashkent hosted the International Exhibition-Fair «Russian Education. Tashkent-2023». The organizer of the exhibition is the representative office of Rossotrudnichestvo in the Republic of Uzbekistan.

It is not the first time that the Ural State Law University named after V.F. Yakovlev takes part in exhibitions held by Rossotrudnichestvo. This year our university was represented by employees of the International Cooperation Department Olga Evgenievna Getz and Daria Alekseevna Ivanova.

At the opening ceremony, the guests of the exhibition were addressed by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Uzbekistan Oleg Sergeevich Malginov, Deputy Head of Rossotrudnichestvo Pavel Anatolyevich Shevtsov, Deputy Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation Shakhlokhon Utkurovna Turdikulova and Head of the Rossotrudnichestvo representative office in the Republic of Uzbekistan Irina Aleksandrovna Staroselskaya.

High school students, graduates of schools, lyceums and technical schools of Uzbekistan, as well as students and graduates of local universities came to the exhibition together with their parents and teachers. All participants received answers to questions about our university, teachers, existing educational programs and living conditions in the hostel.

On the first day of the exhibition, a delegation of the Ural State Law University visited the Russian Cultural Center in Tashkent as part of meetings to represent Russian universities. The delegation was met by the Chairman of the Russian Cultural Center Sergey Alexandrovich Mironov and the representative of the Center Tatiana Gennadievna Graf. During the visit, students studying at the Center were told about the educational programs implemented at USLU, as well as about admission opportunities for foreign citizens. Students at the Russian Cultural Center showed a special interest in our university among other universities, and also expressed a desire to enroll in the Rossotrudnichestvo quota next year.
