The International School of Criminal Procedure continues its work

On October 11, took place the next lecture of the International School of Criminal Procedure.

The International School of Criminal Procedure is a unique project that allows process scientists from Russia, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, Armenia, Belarus and Kyrgyzstan to conduct lectures on topical issues of criminal procedure law.

Within the framework of the International School of Criminal Procedure at the USLU named after V.F. Yakovlev, an educational program «Criminal Procedure of Russia and the Commonwealth of Independent States: issues of theory and practice» has been launched.

The opening speech at the lecture was delivered by:
► Doctor of Law, Professor, Head of the International Cooperation Department of the USLU named after V.F. Yakovlev Kozubenko Yuri Vyacheslavovich;
► Doctor of Law, Professor, Head of the Department of Criminal Procedure Law of Tashkent State Law University Bazarova Dildora Bahadirovna.

The lecture on the topic «Guarantees of individual rights in criminal proceedings and challenges of modernity» was conducted by Doctor of Law, Professor, Head of the Department of Criminal Procedure Law of TSLU Bazarova Dildora Bahadirovna.

In her speech, Dildora Bahadirovna touched upon the issues of the content of the concept of «guarantees of individual rights» in science and legislation, and also revealed the peculiarities of the protection of individual rights in the criminal process of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The work of the International School of Criminal Procedure was attended by: Belarusian State University, Yanka Kupala State University of Grodno, Tashkent State Law University, Caspian University, Academy of Justice under the Supreme Court of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Tajik National University, Kyrgyz National University named after Jusup Balasagyn, Academy of Public Administration under the aegis of the President of the Republic of Belarus, Karakalpak State University named after Berdakh, Russian-Armenian University, University of Public Safety of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The educational program «Criminal procedure of Russia and the countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States: issues of theory and practice» will be implemented until June 01, 2024.
