On November 04, the Championship and the World Championship in Universal combat ended in Novosibirsk at the site of the multifunctional ice arena «Siberia-Arena».

Universal combat is a spectacular sport that originated in Russia in the mid-90s and includes a number of disciplines: overcoming obstacle courses, knife throwing, shooting and hand-to-hand combat.

Athletes from 36 countries took part in the competition, including Algeria, Kazakhstan, China, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Turkey, Mongolia, Syria, Jordan, Kyrgyzstan, Angola, Tanzania, Guinea, Iraq, Uganda and others.

The USLU named after V.F. Yakovlev was presented by foreign students.

In the discipline of universal combat «light»:
Gabrielyan Sarkis — 3rd place (men);
Khomidov Mehroch — 2nd place (juniors);
Ganzorig Tamir — 3rd place (men), 2nd place (juniors);
Eco Nsa Rosa Raquel Ada — 2nd place (women);
Enkhtuvshin Narantsatsral — 2nd place (women);
Zhuraboeva Farangiz — 2nd place (women).

In the discipline of universal combat:
