Conciliation procedures in criminal proceedings of the Republic of Belarus and the Russian Federation
Every week lectures of the International School of Criminal Procedure are held at the USLU named after V.F. Yakovlev with the participation of teachers and graduate students of the Department of Judicial Activity and Criminal Procedure.
During the lectures, teachers and students from different universities of Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, Armenia, Belarus and Kyrgyzstan discuss topical issues of criminal procedure law.
On October 25, the participants of the regular lecture discussed the specifics of conducting conciliation procedures in the criminal procedure legislation of the Republic of Belarus and the Russian Federation.
The lecture was conducted by Lyudmila Lvovna Zaitseva, Candidate of legal sciences, Professor of the Criminal Procedure and Prosecutorial Supervision Department of the Belarusian State University.
The event was attended by universities of the Consortium «European-Asian Law University» and partner universities of the USLU named after V.F. Yakovlev.
The lecturer told about the ways of reconciliation between victim and accused, accelerated proceedings, as well as about the features of the shortened procedure of judicial investigation.
The moderator of the event was Yuri Vyacheslavovich Kozubenko, Doctor of Law, Head of the International Cooperation Department of the USLU named after V.F. Yakovlev.
