USLU strengthens cooperation with Mongolia: online training of foreign students in Russian
As part of the implementation of the federal project "Export of Education" of the national project "Education", the preparatory department of the Ural State Law University initiated a project unique for our University to teach Russian in a distance format to students from Mongolia. This activity was made possible in the framework of cooperation between the Mongolian Academy of Russian language and the USLU Resource center, created at the initiative of the Rector of the Ural State Law University, Vladimir Alexandrovich Bublik, and the Vice-Rector for Research of the Ural State Law University, Lyudmila Nikolaevna Berg, in order to promote the brand of the University in Mongolia.
The unfavorable epidemiological situation did not become an obstacle to the opening of the group, and classes began distantly. Students learn the grammar of the Russian language, perform practical tasks related to standard situations of a social and cultural character (for example, maintaining a conversation about themselves, family, school, etc.), with the active involvement of audio and video materials.
Teachers note the desire, interest, and high motivation of students to learn a new language, and in a few months the first exam will be held.
Note that the group includes foreign students who entered both on a contractual basis and within the study quota established by the Russian Government for foreign citizens.
After completing Russian language courses at the Preparatory Department, foreign students plan to continue their studies in Russia and become students of the Ural State Law University.
