USLU will protect the intellectual property of NOC projects
Specialists of the Ural State Law University will protect the intellectual property of scientific projects created at the Ural Scientific and Educational Center (NOC). This was reported to journalists by the rector of USLU Vladimir Alexandrovich Bublik.
«Since our center [Ural NOC] will deal with the latest materials, these are inventions, and inventions must always be protected from a legal point of view. I think that a huge work on the implementation of innovations will be carried out within the framework of the project, and this cannot be done without lawyers, because we must protect the achievements that have been created and will be created. Intellectual property that will be created within the REC must be protected, and I see this as one of our missions", - said V. A. Bublik.
The corresponding agreement was signed on November 28, 2020 by the rector of the Ural State Law University Vladimir Alexandrovich Bublik and the rector of the Ural Federal University Viktor Anatolyevich Koksharov.
The cooperation agreement between the Ural State Law University and the Ural Federal University involves the development and implementation of joint educational programs, the development of scientific programs in the field of education with international or foreign organizations, - the press service of UrFU told TASS.
«The purpose of this Agreement is cooperation in the field of science and education between USLU and UrFU in areas of mutual interest. <…> To achieve the purpose of this Agreement, the parties agree to develop and implement joint educational programs, double degree programs, scientific programs in the field of education, including jointly with international or foreign organizations», the agreement says. Universities also plan to organize bilateral and multilateral educational, research and technical projects, congresses, joint symposiums, seminars and conferences, and implement educational programs in a network form.
Universities are ready to organize an exchange of students, and students can apply for an exchange for a full academic year or semester, the number of students may vary by mutual agreement of the universities.
The Ural NOC was created and functions on the territory of three subjects of the Ural Federal district: Sverdlovsk, Chelyabinsk and Kurgan regions. Its mission is to ensure balanced advanced development of the country's leading industrial regions, and its strategic goal is to lead Russia in creating advanced production technologies and new materials. First of all, this concerns the creation of advanced aerospace complexes and management systems, the development of innovative transport systems, environmentally friendly and resource-saving energy of a new generation, the development of environmentally friendly production technologies, and the industry of waste recycling.
