USLU Rector Vladimir Bublik received the "Rector of the Year" award in the nomination "Rector of the Law University"
On November 19, 2020, the Rector of the Ural State Law University, Vladimir Alexandrovich Bublik, received the honorary national award "Rector of the Year" in the nomination "Rector of a Law University".The award took place at the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, the winners were awarded by Minister Valery Falkov.
The Rector of the Year Award is a part of the annual Professorial Forum, which brings together leading representatives of the country's science and education sphere. The award winners were chosen from representatives of higher education institutions.
Awarding the Rector of the Year, the contribution of the head of the higher educational institution to the university development and the sphere of science and education in general was taken into account, the university innovation in terms of the development of modern technologies and digitalization was evaluated, the rector’s personal achievementswere taken into account.
The words of the Chairman of the Russian Professorial Assembly, organizer of the Professorial forum – 2020, Vladislav Grib are truthful: «Rector of the year is the first award in the Russian history, when the academic community, the scientific elite of Russia, gives an independent public assessment to rectors. We assessed the rector's contribution comprehensively based on a set of indicators. And we did not assess specific universities, but the personality of their leaders. I am sure that the professorial community’s assessment is often just as important as the departments’ assessment. Rector of Ural State Law University is the undisputed leader of legal education. I have known Vladimir Bublik for a long time as a charismatic and effective leader, a professional with fighting qualities, not only in the figurative sense of the word».
