Meeting with the rector of the KNU named after Zh. Balasagyn

On December, 09, in Bishkek was held a meeting between the rector of the Kyrgyz National University named after Zhusup Balasagyn - Abdyrakhmanov Tolobek Abylovich and the Vice-rector for Scientific Work of the USLU named after V.F. Yakovlev Vinnitsky Andrey Vladimirovich.

The meeting was also attended by:

► Smanaliev Kynatbek Moynokovich - Dean of the Law Faculty of the KNU named after Zh. Balasagyn;
► Keldibekov Bakyt Torobekovich - Head of the International Relations Department of the KNU named after Zh. Balasagyn.

The participants of the meeting discussed the implementation of the activities of the Consortium «European-Asian Law University» and approved the main activities carried out within the framework of the Consortium for 2023.

The subject of discussion was also the launch of a joint master’s degree program in Law (profile: International Civil Procedure and alternative forms of dispute resolution) for the 2023/24 academic year.

The parties agreed on exchange students to KNU for the spring semester, the admission of KNU graduates to the graduate school of USLU (including under the quotas of Rossotrudnichestvo), as well as a plan of scientific events for 2023.

In order to expand cooperation, Tolobek Abdyrakhmanov proposed to hold a Summer school, as well as Guest lectures by professors of USLU for students of the Law Faculty of KNU.

In addition, there was an acquaintance with the teaching staff of the Faculty of KNU and communication with students who plan to continue their studies in the educational programs of USLU.

Earlier, a working meeting was held with the leadership of the Russian Center for Science and Culture (Rossotrudnichestvo) on attracting students and allocating quotas of the Government of the Russian Federation for higher education programs.
