Meeting in Samarkand
During the visit of the delegation of the Ural State Law University named after V.F. Yakovlev to Uzbekistan on July 30, 2022 in the Khokimiyat (government) Samarkand region (Samarkand, Republic of Uzbekistan) hosted a meeting of the Head of the International Cooperation Department of the USLU named after V.F. Yakovlev Yuri Vyacheslavovich Kozubenko, First Deputy khokim (head) Samarkand region Jamshed Rajabovich Urakov, Vice-rector for Research and Innovation of Samarkand State University named after Sharof Rashidov Hakim Abdilhakovich Khushvaktov and Vice-rector for International Cooperation of Samarkand State University named after Sharof Rashidov Akmal Rustamovich Akhatov.
Samarkand State University named after Sharof Rashidov is the second largest higher education institution in Uzbekistan. Currently, more than 25,000 students study at the university at 14 faculties in 34 educational areas and 40 master's degree specialties.
The participants of the meeting noted the positive aspects of academic mobility of students and teachers of Russian and Uzbek universities, and also discussed the possibility of implementing joint educational programs. In particular, we are talking about the network form of the implementation of the bachelor's degree program in the field of Law, which provides for the joint training of the USLU named after V.F. Yakovlev and SSU named after Sharof Rashidov of legal personnel at the bachelor's level.
