Signing of an Agreement between USLU named after V.F. Yakovlev and Karakalpak State University named after Berdakh

On October, 26, Ural State Law University named after V.F. Yakovlev and Karakalpak State University named after Berdakh signed an Agreement on the development of science and innovation.

The signing of the Agreement took place in a festive atmosphere in Samarkand (Republic of Uzbekistan) with the participation of Rector of the Karakalpak State University named after Berdakh Reimov Ahmed Mambetkarimovich and Vice-Rector for Scientific Work of the USLU named after V.F. Yakovlev Vinnitsky Andrey Vladimirovich.

The purpose of the Agreement is to develop science and innovation, as well as strengthen ties between our universities in the field of education in accordance with the development directions of the Consortium «European-Asian Law University».

In order to implement the Agreement, the parties have assumed following obligations:
- to send students, lecturers and researchers to the partner university for training, professional development and improvement of scientific and educational activities;
- to jointly conduct scientific research, use laboratories and carry out innovative activities;
- to participate in the network form of the implementation of joint educational programs;
- to participate in and conduct international educational, scientific and technical projects, congresses, symposiums, conferences and seminars.

In the development of this Agreement, it is planned to open joint bachelor’s and master’s degree programs in the 2023-2024 academic year.
