In order to enter the Ural State Law University from the budget allocations of the federal budget within the quota set by the Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation dated October 8, 2013 № 891 «On establishing quotas for education of foreign citizens and stateless persons in the Russian Federation» it is necessary to sign up on the website «Russia study. Official website for foreign nationals enrollment for study in Russian Federation» (http://russia.study).

After completing the registration procedure, you should return to the main page and select a university. This requires:

1. click on the «Advanced search»;

2. fill out the section «Search for educational programs»:

- Level of education: «Bachelor Degree» / «Master Degree» / «PhD»;

- Scientific sphere: «Social Sciences»;

- Group of educational programs: «40.00.00 Law»;

- City: «Ekaterinburg»;

- Educational organization: Ural State Law University.

In the search for educational programs section, you will see:

Click the «Select». The university will automatically appear in the section «Your choice».

Then your application will be submitted for processing to Rossotrudnichestvo (The Federal Agency for the Commonwealth of Independent States, Compatriots Living Abroad, and International Humanitarian Cooperation).

In order for Ural State Law University to approve the application, it is necessary to indicate its first priority among the other chosen educational institutions. After completing the registration process and choosing an educational institution, you need to fill out an Application form and attach all the necessary documents.

The applicant fills out the online Application form and prepares the documents independently.

2. Copy of negative HIV test certificate (candidates upload this document after passing the tryouts and quota selection)

8. Abstract (for PhD applicants only)

* All documents have to be translated into Russian and notarized. They are uploaded to the "Documents" section in RUSSIA.STUDY system only in PDF format. The size of one file should not exceed 3 MB. Scan copies are made from original documents and certified documents. Each document, including multi-page documents, is scanned as a single file. Each file must have a name (indicating the full name and document title).

Example:

Applicants with diplomas (insert) of secondary vocational education and a certificate of secondary education submit a document of education:

- scan copies (in Russian) of diploma (with appendix) of secondary vocational education, certificate of secondary education.

Applicants studying in the last year of specialized secondary educational institutions (SSEI) submit a document on education:

- scan copy of the academic performance certificate for all years of study, indicating the main information (full name, date of birth, name of the educational organization, department, period of study (year of admission – year of graduation, specialty). Documents are translated into Russian and notarized.

For the BACHELOR AND SPECIALTY programs, applicants additionally upload documents to OTHER DOCUMENTS section on achievements for the 1, 2, 3 courses (certificates, diplomas, certificates of conference participants, etc.).

Attention! Applicants-graduates of secondary and specialized secondary education can apply only in the following directions: "Bachelor degree" and "Specialty degree".

MASTER DEGREE

Applicants with completed higher education submit a document of education:

- scan copy of higher education diploma with attachment. The document is translated into Russian and notarized with a seal.

Applicants completing the last year of the university submit a document of education:

PhD

Applicants with a level of education "Specialty degree", "Master degree", submit a document of education:

- scan copy of higher education diploma with attachment. The document is translated into Russian and notarized with a seal.

Applicants completing the last year of the university submit a document of education:

- scan copy of the student report summary of academic records for all years of study, indicating the main information (full name, date of birth, name of the educational organization, department, period of study (year of admission – year of graduation, specialty). The document is certified by the seal of the educational organization, signed by the head, and the date of issue of the document is indicated. Or a full scanned copy of the student's record-book, certified by the university, is provided.

The LIST OF PUBLICATIONS is uploaded (if available), and is required for applicants for the MASTER DEGREE and PhD levels of education.

OTHER DOCUMENT

In this section, you upload (if available):

- scan copies of documents on achievements over the last three years in the chosen specialty profile (diplomas, certificates, patents, awards for research projects, reference letters, participation in international conferences, etc.).

ABSTRACT

(required for applicants to the PhD level of education)

In this section, you upload:

- scan copy of abstract not more than 10 pages.

For applicants to PhD level of education, the subject of the abstract must correspond to the specialty chosen by the foreign citizen in the PhD training programs for scientific and pedagogical personnel.

The abstract is drawn up in accordance with the requirements for scientific papers.

COPY OF NEGATIVE HIV TEST CERTIFICATE

In this section, you upload:

- scan copy of medical certificate/ negative human immunodeficiency virus test certificate (HIV) and AIDS (the certificate is valid for 3 months). The document must be dated 2020. The document is translated into Russian and notarized with a seal.

Attention! Candidates upload this document after passing the tryouts and quota selection.

COPY OF MEDICAL CERTIFICATE

In this section, you upload:

- scan copy of the document of the candidate's country medical institution confirming the absence of medical contraindications for education in the Russian Federation (certificate of 086 or 082 form). The certificate is valid for 6 months. The document must be dated 2020. The document is translated into Russian and notarized with a seal.

Attention! Candidates upload this document after passing the tryouts and quota selection.

APPLICATION FORM

In this section, you upload:

- scan copy of application form with photo.

After filling out the electronic application form, you need to download it on RUSSIA.STUDY website (to do this, click the "Print application" button located under the photo).

To print the application, click the "Print application" button under the photo on the "Personal data" tab. After that, the system will generate a text file with the questionnaire to be printed. Next, fill out a paper questionnaire, put the date of completion and personal signature. Scan the form in PDF format and attach it to the "Documents" section - "Application form".

Attention! Photos from mobile devices, selfies, and collective photos are not allowed.

The completed electronic application form and attached documents must be sent for verification by clicking on the button "SEND FOR CHECK"

All documents are accepted only in electronic format through RUSSIA.STUDY website

After completing the registration procedure, choosing the University and attaching all the necessary documents, you should notify the Department of International Relations of Ural State Law University about sending the application by phone +7 (343) 374-40-12 and mail ums@usla.ru with your full name and phone number.
