USLU students took part in the International youth project «Recipe of Cultures»
On June 27, foreign students of our university took part in a gastronomic festival within the framework of the International youth project «Recipe of Cultures».
Student teams from several universities prepared dumplings with their own hands and presented them. The participants of the festival had the opportunity not only to taste various types of this dish, but also to get acquainted with the peculiarities of their cooking.
At the opening ceremony of the gastronomic festival, welcoming speeches were made by Rector of the Ural State Pedagogical University Svetlana Minyurova, Deputy Representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia in Yekaterinburg Alexander Ivanov, Deputy Minister of International and Foreign Economic Relations of the Sverdlovsk Region Oleg Alexandrin, Consul General of the Republic of Tajikistan in Yekaterinburg Zafar Sayidzoda, representatives of the local diplomatic corps and other officials.
The festival ended with a lunch at a large table.
