Days of Yekaterinburg in Minsk

On September 13, the Days of Yekaterinburg started in Minsk. A delegation from the Ural capital took part in the International Economic Development Forum, opened a book exhibition at the Central Library named after Yanka Kupala, held a meeting with the Republican Youth Union and visited the exhibition of the famous Russian artist Alexei Efremov. In addition to the cultural part, the visit was also based on the exchange of experience and the search for partners in the field of urban management and education.

The delegation from Yekaterinburg included the Head of the International Cooperation Department of the Ural State Law University named after V.F. Yakovlev, Doctor of Law Kozubenko Yuri Vyacheslavovich.

In Minsk a meeting was held with Marianna Akindinovna Shchetkina, Head of the Representative Office of the Standing Committee of the Union State in Minsk, Candidate of Sociological Sciences. Next, a delegation from Yekaterinburg met with Vladimir Evgenievich Kukharev, Chairman of the Minsk City Executive Committee.

In addition, during his visit to Minsk, the Head of the International Cooperation Department of the Ural State Law University named after V.F. Yakovlev visited a number of leading universities of the Republic of Belarus in order to discuss the possibility of launching joint master’s degree programs in 2025, as well as other issues of possible cooperation.

A meeting was held at the Academy of Public Administration under the aegis of the President of the Republic of Belarus with the Head of the Department of Civil and Economic Law, Candidate of Law Sciences Marina Nikolaevna Shimkovich and the Head of the International Cooperation Department, Candidate of Historical Sciences Tatyana Alexandrovna Prannik.

At the Belarus State Economic University was organized a meeting with the Dean of the Faculty of International Economic Relations, Candidate of Economic Sciences Oksana Nikolaevna Shkutko and the Dean of the Faculty of Law, Candidate of Law Sciences Alexander Nikolaevich Shklyarevsky.

At the Belarusian State University, the Head of the International Cooperation Department of the Ural State Law University named after V.F. Yakovlev met with representatives of the Dean’s Office of the Faculty of Law: Dean, Candidate of Law Sciences Andrei Viktorovich Shidlovsky, as well as deputy deans: Candidate of Law Sciences, Sergei Arturovich Kalinin, Candidate of Political Sciences Olga Evgenievna Berezhnaya and Olga Viktorovna Yemelyanovich.

Yuri Vyacheslavovich also visited the forensic training ground of the BSU Faculty of Law and talked with the Head of the Department of Criminology, Doctor of Law, Professor Vyacheslav Borisovich Shabanov. The training ground consists of classrooms equipped with modern forensic and expert equipment. The classrooms are equipped with simulated accident scenes with various models of the «environment» of conditional crimes.
